Bangladesh: Providing Leadership Opportunities for Women Judges

On June 24, NCSC and the Bangladesh Women Judges Association jointly organized a training on best practices in court administration and case management to increase efficiency in case flow management, reduce case backlog, and building leadership management capacities in a courtroom setting. Special attention was also given to discussing the causes and impacts of needless procedural delays. Thirty-two women judges from Dhaka and the surrounding region attended the training.

The Strengthening Rule of Law Program in Bangladesh is funded by the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Counterterrorism and Countering Violent Extremism and implemented by NCSC.
