Student Law Practicum Program in Bosnia and Herzegovina

On June 1-2, 2018, NCSC organized a two-day training of trainers (further in text "ToT") for deans and professors from law schools as well as practitioners from the cities of Banja Luka, Mostar, Sarajevo, and Tuzla. The aim of the ToT was to train participants on use of curriculum/course materials and effective teaching methodologies. By demonstrating portions of the curriculum thorough skill building exercises, participants were familiarized with the content of the curriculum and working material.

The goal of the curriculum is to support professors to deliver practice-oriented courses with input from the legal practitioner community. The participants concluded that the curriculum is applicable to a variety of legal fields and judicial proceedings, not only to the criminal procedure, and that it allows students to apply acquired knowledge and shape them as future practitioners.

The curriculum will be implemented in all four law schools in fall 2018.
