The Nigeria Court Case Management System Project reached an important milestone in August 2015, with the integration of a data tracking system that will assign a user and court identification entry to every record in the court case management system database.
The record tracking system creates a complete audit trail that will allow for detailed monitoring of all data contained within the system, thereby supporting record management integrity and accountability.
In August 2013, the NJC contracted with NCSC to design and implement an automated court case management system for Nigerian courts. The CCMS will be introduced into pilot courts in Nigeria at three levels: the Supreme Court, the Court of Appeals, and the High Court. In addition to providing consulting and technical services, NCSC also provided the NJC with a software framework to support its CCMS.
