On September 28 and 29, 2016, NCSC partnered with the Ministry of Justice and Liberties to organize roundtables on the establishment of the Supreme Judicial Council, the National Center for the Criminal Record, and the Observatory of the Criminal Phenomenon—three institutions foreseen under the 2013 Judicial Reform Charter.
The roundtables brought together Ministry officials and NCSC experts to validate recommendations presented in technical feasibility studies drafted following interviews and field visits at the Ministry of Justice and courts in Rabat, Casablanca, and Fes. NCSC is working closely with INL and the Ministry of Justice and Liberties to implement these recommendations.
The Justice Sector Feasibility Studies Program is implemented by NCSC under a cooperative agreement from the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau for International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs.
